Part of introducing a new design. At lease Springfield handles it right.

Yes, it seems to be part of any new design. About 20 years ago, give or take a few, Ruger recalled the P85 and did some changes to it. I had one at the time, still have it, and the changes don't seem to have affected it in any way as it still functions perfectly. Recalls seem to be a part of life.

what's wrong with a full auto belly gun ? oh yeah, wrong century.

ruger had to recall the lcp also.

Springfield is a stand up company and stand behind their products, this is a good thing. I`ll wait a while before sending mine in as there is a mad rush now .
