Well, I got these loaded, and then looked for an empty cartridge box. I normally have several around; I prefer those made by MTM, and settled on the "smoke blue" color a long time ago. I normally load for larger calibers though, and just didn't have a small box lying around to use with these diminutive rounds.
Well, I guess I could have just put the rounds in a snack bag, but what fun would that be?
So, I decided to make my own cartridge box, and try to make it look old-fashioned.
First, I decided on how the bullets would get placed in the box itself, and the dimensions of the box. To do this I borrowed some of the kids Legos, and made a jig.

Here's another look at the jig:

So then I took some measurements, and grabbed some carboard. This was a piece off a pad of paper.

Here I have the bottom portion of the box cut out and glued, in clamps drying, and the top cut out.

Here is the top drying, and fitting it to the bottom.

Meanwhile, I figured out the design of the label, printed it, and here's what it looks like.

And the last one, of the top and side together.

A little off-center, but not bad for my first try. What do you think?
