I got tired of the old tripods and binoculars at the range to zero in my hunting rifle's so today I made this for my spotting scope works grate

I made a similar one but it seemed to have a resonant frequency just right for any little gnat that flew by to set it to bouncing. Good idea though using that kind of clamp.

Did you have to heat it to make the 90-degree twist...?

I made one similar a few years back. Works good.

I heated it with a torch for 4 minets then used a pipe wrench to putthe twist on it driled 4 holes to use for the spoting scope mount this way any one can use it with out jumping up and down when ever they need it
