Had me all beat today! We got six fox's, darn things are eating everything!

Any way got in the shade and put the crow decoys out this afternoon to give the AL48 a blast.
23 crows from lousy shooting,,,,too tired and too hot!

Still enjoyed it though!

Nath you done a good job on the varmints,

I've been knocking off squirrels for the last couple of weeks, I don't know where they're all coming from.

I assume you use a light at night for the fox .

My question to you is if you have tried both green lights and red lights and if so which worked better for you ?

Good question!
I favour amber or a yellow, it does not seem to spook as much as white light but offers good contrast for those 200yd+ shots. A smallish 1 million CP is enough for us.
Red is good but a huge (we call them) lamp would be needed for the long shots.
I favour red in a small lamp when we harvest rabbit.
