Why would anyone want/need a high capacity magazine? Humor
Guy walks into the local bar, waves his 6-shot revolver around at the ceiling and hollers at the crowd, "Who in here has been having an affair with my wife?" After a short pause, a voice from the back of the bar yells out, "You're gonna need more ammo than that!"

As far as high capacity, I seem to recall the Indians liking repeaters a lot, and Custer most likely did not. Superior firepower.
