Yes, I know the 96/22 isn't "Traditional", but I like the idea of a 50rd mag on a 22.

Stock. Saw no sense in changing it. It works well enough for a woods gun..45 wrote:I love my 96/22. What type of front sight do you have on yours?
I've thought about mounting a cheap BSA/Crosman holo-sight on it (I have one), just never got around to it.AJMD429 wrote:I like the nice short lever throw on the 96/22. It is usually the first gun I let a novice shoot (with a red dot scope).
Yep. Just got off the phone with Davidsons.Old Savage wrote:Was the 86 made with that finish?
I already have a 12ga M500 with both a riot barrel & a rifle-sighted/rifled slug barrel... and a .50 Flintlock... both in Stainless.tman wrote:adding a 99-.308, a 12gauge, rem 870 or a 1887 lever repro, makes you set for anything, anytime, anywhere.
I'll have to look. I think it's a Ram Line.Idiot wrote:Old Ironsights, who makes the 50 round magazine stuck in your gun? And, does it function flawlessly?

Not to hi-jack your thread, but I noticed the books in your third picture - the last one - just below the muzzle of your 96/22. Would those be the "Star Trek" books by James Blish? I can't make them out - but they sure do look like them!
No, then you will discover the Browning BLR, or find out how cool is a Winchester '95, or find a great deal on a Marlin 39.Old Ironsights wrote:... Then I'll be set for life.,,,,
I knew it! Reason I recognized them is that I finally have room to take out a bunch of books I've been lugging around in boxes for years. I just took mine out last week. Have to be about 30 years old.Old Ironsights wrote:As a matter of fact....Ysabel Kid wrote:OI -
