Working in the coal mine...
Maybe some day I will have my guns organized...
I think I'm about 2/3 there...
I still need some barrel/gun separators, but...

I can only wish my safe was that size. I don't have anything near a large collection, but my safe is full. I can't even think about putting anything but firearms in it.

Well, when Kenmore built my "safe" (STO version) they included lots of shelf space...kimwcook wrote:I can only wish my safe was that size. I don't have anything near a large collection, but my safe is full. I can't even think about putting anything but firearms in it.

If you use a freezer, they even come with a built in lock.

OI -- Was that your picture originally? If so, I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes.Old Ironsights wrote:Funny... I seem to recognize that pic...Modoc ED wrote:If you use a freezer, they even come with a built in lock.

Those freezers are a good idea. I showed that picture to a couple of guys at our range a couple years back and they went out to the dump and picked up a couple/three old freezers and made gun safes out of them. Others at the range have picked up on the idea too.
In the picture, you can see the silver hardware of the freezer lock on the outside edge of the door. They are good locks and keep unwanted hands and eyes out.

No stepped on toes. I'm glad you show it off.
This one is not as cosmetically nice and too a lot more fumigating than the one I had to leave in Indiana, but it also has door shelves. I just need to reinforce them a bit.
But the "Butter & Cheese" shelves with doors hols a bunch of .22 boxes...
