30-30 Again
I have been without a 30-30 for a number of years, don’t know why, just worked out that way. Traded for a 336 in 30-30 last week and discovered I don’t have a mold for one any more. Borrowed a 311041 ad casted up a couple hundred, sized them .302 and gave them 2 wraps of 16# paper. Run the through a .309 die with BAC and loaded them over 30gr AA2495. First group run just over 2” and that came down to under 1.5” after the bore cleaned up. Guess I got as keeper.
Re: 30-30 Again
Any 30-30's better than no 30-30.
Re: 30-30 Again
30 WCF...the finest, one of the most versatile middle ground rifles a gunner could have in his or her hands. I am so glad you rediscovered it & have hopes that you pursue the knowledge that it contains.
Well done Levergunner....

Leverbob,
Great statement about 30-30/ 30WCF. It is a very flexible round. Pdawg.shooter hope you enjoy your levergun.
