my best group!

Post by El Chivo »

I'm pretty excited, Saturday I shot my best offhand group ever, ten shots of .22lr @ 50 feet. I practice every week but it seems there's always one flyer - not this time!

I tried a method I used to use for silhouette. Concentrate on holding on the target, while just brushing or "tickling" the trigger, so you never know when it's going to go off. Plus I was in a zone - just getting over a cold.

Boldly done!

Now - can ya do it again on demand?

(Sorry about that, I just COULD NOT resist!)

Seriously, though - that's terrific shooting.

Congratulations!

Great shooting!

It feels good when you know you are capable of doing that. Maybe not every time, but the ability is there.

The only time I got a better group than that was the time I shot a ONE shot group from my 6mm that measured only .244"

Wouldn't a one-shot group always measure 0.00? I'm sure the Doc knows this. :?
