Nosler .35 cal. 180gr HG

Post by 1886 »

Anyone try this bullet in their .35 cal. rifle? I was thinking of giving them a go in the Whelen. Might be a great light-medium game buster. Regards. 1886.

Hand Gun I believe. The bullet was/is designed for hand gun loads. Nosler does show data for this projectile for the Whelen. It was an another excuse to reload and go collect some data but at $42.00 for a box of 50...I will have to forgo this experiment. I am confident they would make a great light/medium game bullet but I will not be experimenting at those prices. Regards. 1886.

I"ve not tried that bullet in my Whelen but I have used the Speer 180 gr Flat-SP rifle bullets with very good accuracy.

I read on the Midway site that this refer to this 180 as a single shot to keep people from loading them in tube magazines. If you are using it in a box or clep, there is no problem.
