OT - Motorcycles - Went To The Darkside

Post by Blaine »

08 Ultra Classic with only 11,500 miles. Almost an even trade for the 08 Wing (got the Harley for under wholesale from a Honda dealership that wanted the Wing and didn't want the Harley). It's a real nice ride, but not as fast as the Wing. Fits me good. If it holds up, no regrets on the trade.

Very nice. Hope you enjoy it. Other bikes may be faster but having a Harley is like no other. I've ridden lots of bikes and have owned three Harley's . My 08 streetglide my current ride.

Very nice! I would have made that trade also. I went backwards from you, had a gold wing, then bought a kawasaki drifter, then to my present a 2007 electra glide. I have 16,000 miles on mine. Wifey has a harley (heritage classic) and I have a 2nd for work and puttin around (dyna superglide). Again nice bike and let us know what you think after putting some miles on it. Ride safe.

Very nice. I don't see it as a downgrade at all. Love my 2006 Street Bob.

Kind of what I thought. But I can also see the draw of an HD. There's nothing else made that sounds the same.

As I gave up the big bikes, I found out how much I liked exploring. I now ride TW200 Yamies.

Well, I got that way when they quit making my Valkyrie Interstate. Teenager wrecked me out on mine and I didn't replace it in time. Won a few bets with the "Made in USA" cast into the block. :D

Nice bike Blaine. Looks perfect to chew up those long-distance miles. Big touring machines like that aren't my thing, but I could care less about what a guy rides. As long as you ride, man.

Enjoy it!
