My uncle is a wildlife biologist for the state. They use this method for both hogs and coyotes. He has told us stories of shooting close to 1000 in a weekend's work in West Texas and still not making a dent.

Thanks Ji, cool like.

If you watched the interview with Ted Nugent that Griff posted uncle Ted talked about doing that very thing. Ted said he killed 150 sumptin hogs and 4 yotes. They also had 4 guys on ATV's chasing and picking up the hogs so they could feed the needy.

Don't worry, I can't get it to run on my Toshiba laptop running Vista, either. Something about that video is keeping it from streaming very well.

Scott

p.s. Joe, I just right-clicked on the screen image and chose to "Turn HD Off." That helped things immensely.

Ganjiro,

You actually came to mind the other day when I was thinking about the crew from the old leverguns forum. I was thinking about you and your Mom and Dad. I hope you're doing well, amigo. Any chance of you coming back to Texas sometime soon?

Scott,
Well I tried that but I don't even have the option of HD on this old box.

Right click on the video frame, itself. The HD portion is embedded in the video on the webpage. Sorry, I shouldn't have said "screen."

Scott,
That's what I did. I got all sorts of choices to save this page, copy it, properties yada yada , but no option for HD.

Oh well hopefully this thread will still be here when my other box comes home.

Well, I'm glad to see you've reappeared here, Ji. Hang tough, man. And, if I can do anything for you, let me know.

Great looking lantern, by the way. Nice work.

This video brings to mind a scene from a popular movie of several years past.

From Full Metal Jacket:

"How could you shoot women and children?"

"Easy, you just don't lead 'em so much!..."

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Here's another Texas Heli-Hunt video. These guys get so close you can hear the pigs squeal when hit, and even see the laser on target in some shots.
