OT Texas Wildfires

Post by Barcelona Rick »

Would y'all say a prayer for some rain this Holy Weekend. There are 254 counties in Texas and 252 are either on fire or in real danger of being so. Almost 2 million acres statewide are now blackened. Two firefighters have lost their lives and over 800 homes/structures have been lost. There is a real bad fire burning over near Rangerider7's place and we really need to remember him and his. I pray that each Christian have a blessed Easter....

We've had fires close enough to get a good dose of smoke and nonflaming ashfall in town.

Sent my son-in-law and his P3 Orion tanker down there to help y'all out. Last I heard he was working the Abiline area.

Man, I wish we could help. Up here in Ohio, we've had all the rain we can stand. Can we ship ya some, or your welcome to come up, visit, and take some of the water back with you. Got plenty...

We have had some bad and big range fires in the past, but I don't recall anything this massive or destructive.
