Ok, trying again. Three times in the last year or so I've not been able to log on to the forum anymore...always have to start anew...usually says my info is "invalid"...always back to a post count of one.

So lets see if I'm up and running again!

C&L,

You're back ........ again. Suggest you contact Hobie or Am_Bra_Col and find out what might be your problem. This is a totally different server than we had in the past so you might be OK here.

Now, tell us about that long barreled Winchester.

Joe

Thanks Joe.

I don't know much about that loooong barreled Winchester. I traded a guy a Uberti SA with a Colt barrel on it for that rifle.

It is a 94AE .30-30 and I think it was made in the late 1980's. The barrel is 24" and the forestock/end cap have been replaced with ones from an older model (I think).

It shoots nicely and the action is smooth...works for me.

Looks good to me. I really envy you blokes that can take quality, artistic pics of your guns.

Thanks Bob! Actually, I have to take about 20+- pics before I have one turn out decent. :?

This one turned out fairly good...it's a 1949 vintage .30WCF model '94

I like the look of your 94. Forearm foreward looks vintage. Receiver rearward looks more modern. 1886.
