You should be able to find one "over there". I didn't see any at lamnia.fi but I don't know who's who's across the pond.
Your wood and leather kit looks to be 50s-60s vintage to my eye.
Rusty, I don't really know. The blade is marked "Inox" and the only thing Inox-like I see on Marttiini's website is this:
CARBINOX T508
Carbinox T508 steel combines the best characteristics of carbon and chrome steel: toughness, honing easiness, and extreme durability. The steel blend carbon content is 0.5%, chrome content 8% and its hardness 56-57 HRC. The material is not classified as stainless but its resistance to corrosion is considerably higher than that of traditional carbon steel. In the maintenance of Carbinox T508 it is sufficient to clean the blade carefully and dry it after use. However we also recommend the occasional treatment of the blade with unsalted oil.

Very nice!
I have several Moras that I just love.
The 510 is very similar in shape and design except with no guard and my handles are plastic and really RED.
And the ultimate would be to actually create something like that!
I've really been taken with Scandinavian knives in general and the Finn puukkos (pronounced poo-ka) in particular the past couple of years. There's just something about the blade design and overall shape that grabs me.

awp101, my usual knife man (Hennie Haynes) has sold out of your model but has one very simlar to mine but at £55.95 UK pounds, so I'll stick with my old one. I don't know why some stuff is so expensive over here compared to the USA.
I think I've had my Marttiini since the late seventies, the leather is in need of TLC

I paid $36 OTD for mine but now that I have a better idea of what I like and what to look for I'll look online more. As much as I like the looks of the Scandis and puukkos, I've never owned or held one until now.

Food for thought: mic201m from knifeforums shared this striking custom made knife in the Scandinavian Knife Gallery and it looks great. Apparently he got the idea while sitting in a traffic jam – take another look and have a chuckle at the name, and the double yellow lines. Who knew they could inspire such a thing of beauty?
The blade is a 90x23mm Stefan Brostrom, and the handle is grey/yellow stab Box Elder. The overall length is 215mm. The scandi grind is a well loved and traditional bushcraft design. You can find some more great pics of this “Noh Pah King” knife on knifeforums.
