Looks like Marlinman93 is aptly named. Awesome gun. Drooling now.

Thanks Jdad! Always good to deal with you! Yeah, I'm retired now and cleaning out the safe a little. Lots of good stuff going, but I'm keeping lots of good stuff still! Just can't part with any of my singleshot rifle collection, or a handful of my Marlin repeaters.
That other 1893 deluxe in .38-55 was in the same family it's whole life until I bought it 20 years ago!

What a beautiful rifle. Too bad Marlin still doesn't make rifles that look as nice as that one. Great caliber, too.

That's a fantastic looking rifle. Congrats.

Re: I ran into Marlinman93 this morning and......
jdad and mm93, that is a very appealing rifle. The 1/2 oct bbl, PG and Shotgun butt are huge plusses in my book. Where aye you posting the other Marlins, mm93?

I'm not posting them anywhere Mike. Selling them locally mostly. Usually I tell some friends when I have one for sale and they go away without taking them to the local show. I've got two 1881's for sale,; a small frame .32-40 std. gun, and a large frame .40-60 with double set triggers, plus the .38-55 1893 delxue PG Marlin.
I've got another straight grip, swiss butt, half octagon, .40-60, 1881 that will probably go up for sale sometime in the near future.

WOW! It has been a while since I have had time to play on some gun sights and this one brings back memories!
Marlinman 93.....I remember talking with you back on the other forum when I had alot of posts under my name!
I remember you always having some really cool pictures of rifles you bought or had and posting them here. I always enjoyed that, they are all beautiful!
I have a 93 in 38-55 now and it shoot good and I am still waiting to take my first deer with it. The Marlin action is so nice to work with, take apart and clean and assemble. It is so easy and simple and no wonder it just works.
I am making a sling and cover for a 93 right now. The first one ever ordered and guess what, the stock is the same as mine. So I can use that pattern to make one for my 93 as well. (When I get time that is. )
Well not to hijack the thread, but it is no surprise to me that any rifle purchased from Marlinman93 is going to be a beauty! Congratulations on the buy and thanks for sharing, we love eye candy!
