width of sling for Winchester swivels?
Anybody know for sure the appropriate sling width to fit old style Winchester detachable sling swivels (like on DeLuxe Win71s)? Is it 1 1/4" or 1"? Thanks.
Re: width of sling for Winchester swivels?
I'm guessing it's the 1¼" one because the 1" is mighty small.

If you'd of asked this on Monday nite, instead of Tues... I coulda measured one of mine... but they're a bit far away now! I'm sure someone will be along that has access to one to throw a tape on one. I think COSteve is right... but without one right in front of me I don't wanna commit!

The correct width is 3/4".

I measured the sling that's been with a 1937 since it left the factory. It's one inch.
My mind reader refuses to charge me..........

The sling on my 71 is factory, as are the swivels. The sling is 1", the swivels are 3/4" where they attach to the inletted mount. Same are on my Model 64.
