The truth is so funny it hurts.

:(
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

This election may boil down to who to vote against than who to vote for.

It normally does - or at least it has for me since Reagan... :(

Here's another good one.

That being said, if McCain is the nominee, I'd still vote for him over either Hillary or Obama...

Here is the problem as I see it right now.

McCain or Obama .............. no lesser of two evils

McCain or Clinton .............. no lesser of two evils

In all good consiounce (sp), I cannot see any of these choices being the lesser of two evils.
In every election up till now I've always been able to look at the candidates and make a decision as to who I considered the lesser evil. Not this time.

If these are my choices, I'm stymied. I don't know who to vote for.

If it's Obama, I'll vote for McCain (the lesser of the two evils)
If it's Billary, I'll vote for McCain and frantically pray everyday that he wins.

Every election offers a worse class of candidates than the one before.

I wasn't quite as worried about Obama, until Uncle Teddy put him in his back pocket. I'm somewhat suprised Jane Fonda hasn't backed him too. What an act of future constitutional sabatoge.
