Prayer request

I just returned from the hospital. My motherinlaws in there at the end of an 8 year battle with lung cancer. She's lived a great life & been pretty inspirational to me in many ways. My wife was blessed with a wonderful mom & my kids with a grandma that just couldn't be beat. She never quit until it was beyond her ability to fight. This started when she was 69.

Her name is Irene McCarthy & If you could keep her in your thoughts I know she would be real greatful, as would I.
She's going to a better place & I pray she doesn't have to suffer much longer.

Your wifes mom would be very proud to read your comments about her on the forum, they're words from a SON. My mother-in-law took 8 years or so with Alzheimers, it's rough. But prayers mean a lot, and she will get some.

Leverdude,

You got it man. I sure can understand what you are going thru!! I lost my dad that way, the greatest man I have ever known. And in the last 2 weeks my 87 year old mom has fallen and broken her wrist AND her hip. Almost lost her last Sunday! So knowing a bit about what you and your sweet wife are going thru, my heartfelt condolences to both of you! Keep your chin up and lean on the Lord!
