Was looking at RCBS but wasnt much of a flat point. Went with Saeco 180RFP, If I did it over would prolly buy LBT mold. Look up Glenn Fryxell's articles he did alot of testing with 35 REM and abot 6 different cast bullets
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

The RCBS 205gr RNGC sized .359 is a good performer in the .35 Rem. I think I used a case full of VarGet with Rem. 2 1/2 primers and a .354 expander. I use the Lee FCD. This load has performed well in many microgroove Marlins. 1886.

I have shot this bullet in several .357 carbines with good success.

I've shot quite a few deer and a couple elk with this bullet, also lots of grouse and coyotes. Can't say enough good about it. A REALLY good killer and usually stayed under 1 1/2" at 100 yards.

I like the Ranch Dog bullets, and since it was designed around the Marlin chances are it's going to shoot well in yours.

Don't have the RCBS mold but I bought the RD 190 a few years back and have never had it fail for accuracy or to be terminal in my 35 rem or 356. Have shot it some in 357 rifle and pistol on paper ,w/ good results and wouldn't hesitate to use it in a hunt situation long as I felt that 357 was enough for the purpose .
