Looks to be in pretty good shape for 1880's. I have a. 32 S&W revolver that was my great-grandfathers. But I haven't considered shooting it lately. Now I'll have to go look and see if they still occasionally make factory ammo for it still.

You can certainly get 32 S&W ammunition with smokeless powder, if your revolver is made for it. I have a nickle plated H&R 32 S&W revolver. It also shoots 32 S&W longs. At present I have ammunition from three companies: Magtech, Remington, and Kinematics Research.
