Anybody else like the little (but heavy!) 336Y Spikehorn?
It's a handy little bugger even if it's heavy!

Might as well face it, you're addicted to guns . . .
I like a lot. Short pull lengths work better for me.
I'd like it even better in .35 Rem with a straight grip.
I can never figure out how and/or why Marlin brings guns to market and then they disappear. Must not have sold enough of them. Maybe they should have called it the Marlin GH and it might have taken off.

Sure is. My all-time favorite male vocalist. Darned shame he passed away four years ago in Paris. I use his photo in tribute to a great vocalist gone too soon.jd45 wrote:Noah, is that Robert Palmer's pic in your avitar? Just curious, jd45
Back in the 80s I was a dead ringer for him. Used to get "Can I have your autograph?" when I was in airports.

The first time I held one of those it struck me as really heavy for it's small size. A little too heavy for a kid rifle, in my opinion. I'd love to have one for myself. I'd get a take-off full size buttstock and have me a cool little trapper!
