Hobie -- The first try seems to be working. I'll try it a few more times over the course of the day and see how it plays. Thanks. Wind

looks like you passed the test with flying colors!

i wish I had fenceposts like that. All that sprout from my fenceposts is rust or honeysuckle. I'd pay a pretty penny for fenceposts that sprout Winchesters.

HHooobbbbieeeeee -- I think it's working. Both replies went without a hitch. Usually took 25 tries at least. All the pictures came up. I think I'm liking it!! Thanks. Best regards. Wind

Hobie - Been on and off several times today and everything has worked fine. I'm starting to think we may have cured the issues. Thanks. Best regards. Wind

This is definitely strange - I've been able to see the pictures (like the fence posts above), instead of just 'you do not have the required permission', and I've not been logged off in probably an hour, with multiple posts and windows.

A week ago it was taking anywhere from three to twenty tries to post a message...

Dunno when Hobie 'fiddled with' things, but it seemed smoother briefly last night when I was on, although I just figured it was 'luck' that time. Now I'm getting my hopes up.

If things are fixed now, then...
  • 1. I owe Hobie and Wind and whoever else helped a big thanks.
    2. I can say I appreciate my 'forum experience' more and take nothing for granted.
    3. I'll have to try to not over-use my new 'powers', and over-post on every topic...

kimwcook -- Yep, doing OK. Working on the homefront and sorting out a few new rifles. Sure would be good if you could get up for some silhouette soon. Weather is getting good.

Hey Doc - Forum member wecsoger has been looking into my issues, which sound identical to your issues, for some time now. I think he has it figured out. I passed the information on to Hobie. It sure looks like they may have eliminated a bunch of aggravation on our part. Here is your Ruger picture.

Best regards. Wind

don't know about the ruger, but all of those winchesters sprouted
from the same fence post. you must harvest them fairly regularly.
careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

I can't get my line posts to grow anything, but my brace assemblies sometimes sprout S&Ws. :)

Hobie -- Day 2 and still going strong!! We just might have got it! It would be cool if Doc AJ is showing improvement too.

YK -- Thanks for the kind words. I've been trying to get rid of stuff but guns just seem to follow me home. Can't figure it out (but not really trying to hard, either!).

WECSOGER -- If you are passing by -- THANKS!

Wow, I stayed logged-on OVERNIGHT - and it wasn't the usual 'fake' logged-on, where it says I'm logged on, but won't let me see pictures or post messages.

This is looking good. . . 8)

Wind, would you check that magic fence post and see if my 336 CB showed up yet? Cast and sized up another 100 or so of the lee 38-55 bullet. I'll try to cast a few more before next week's match.

Kim would sure like seeing you and your 1894 knocking down the rams at the Match next week. I promise not to drool on your rifle this time.
