My Mom had to put my Grandmother in the nursing home yesterday. She's 90 years old and really starting to fail fast. I try to help all I can but Mom has pretty well declared it's not mine or my sister's job and won't let us do too much. Only one of my three uncles has stepped up to the plate to offer any help with the decision making or helping with Grandma and I guess that's what I'm asking for prayers for.
My Grandmother has lead a tough, but good, happy life, is a good Christian woman and is really probably ready to go Home. It's really hard on my Mom and she's becoming quite bitter towards her brothers about their seeming lack of concern. There's a little money involved here and it's really tearing me up to see my family falling apart over it but I will support my Mom's decisions whatever they may be.
I ask your prayers for my Grandmother, Mom and uncles to see them thru these times.
