Vintage Picture Of The Day.

Post by cshold »

Back in the day, the line “I’m Going Back To The Truck To Warm Up”
would have been meaningless, looking at this picture anyway.
The thing that always amazes me in these old photos is the pride in
the way the people dressed back then.

I wonder if there is a buck on the other running board as well :D

Maybe the deer (and woman) were just additional weight for traction in the snow! :)

That is a good one! And check out the chains on the rear tires. I've seen some films of Model Ts back in the day going through some nasty stuff. Kind of makes us look spoiled today.

Wow! What it must have been like to see three fine bucks like those in the same day! Bountiful is the word!

Nice picture. Now a days when people complain about having it hard, I almost roll my eyes. It's about the same when they say "I wish we lived in the good ole days". Those days were filled with hard labor, no amenities, or very few and limited access to creature comforts. I love the simpler times, I lived in North Dakota for about 10 years and talk about simple, but I'm all for things that make my life easier and I don't want the good ole days. Simpler, yes. Ole days, not so much.
