OT - Visited Ohio this week on business....

...and wanted to tell our Buckeye-based members that you guys have a downright pretty state here. I've been in Dublin and Twinsburg this week working at our new data centers. The drive up I-71 was quite pleasant even with the drifting snow. Saw a lot of nice looking whitetail habitat and even the odd tree stand here and there from the highway along with a lot of Canada geese in what I imagine was mowed down corn fields.

Sure is a big change from the Central Valley of California! We don't get all of this white stuff 'cept in the mountains!

Glad you liked our state. Outside of the looooong winters (at least it seems really long), the Cleveland area has a lot to offer. Football, baseball, and basketball for the sports fans (Ok, I know its been a really looooong time since we've won anything, but what the heck), a great park system, plus a great orchestra, and other culturally oriented events for those so inclined.
Rush hour traffic is decent and the quality of life is pretty good.

Good to hear some positive thoughts about the State.Thank You. We live about 50 miles north of Twinsberg. If Your going to be around for the weekend We are in for another round of "Global Warming" I think the weatherman said some of the higher ground could be getting a couple more feet of it starting Thursday nite. .

I have not lived there since '72, but visit Mom often. The South East Quad of the State is nothing less than wonderful for hunting and fishing. A beautiful gateway to the Smokey Mountains.....
