m-92 mag tube spring

Post by kooz »

I have an older Interarms 65 and a new Braztech 92, both in .45Colt and both with 20" bbls. I need extra power magazine springs for both of them. I called Wolf last week and they could not help. I figured these would be an easy to find common upgrade . Where can I get them ? Thanks

Winchester Bobs ( http://winchesterbob.com/ ) and other places have long magazine springs. I bought one some time back that was like 30 something inches long.
You can buy one like that and cut it to what you need. Normally, from my measurements magazine springs are about 6" longer than the magazine.
They use the same spring as a 30-30 does.

Before you get heavier mag springs for your Rossi, I'd suggest that you give Steve (The Rossi Specialist) a call at Steve's Gunz. He's 'Nate Kiowa Jones' here on this site so you could email or IM him too. Anyway, His video on working the Rossis has you remove some coils from the std spring rather than adding a heavier spring. If you are having feeding issues, there is something else wrong, not the spring. Especially not the spring on your new Braztech-Rossi.
