Well I got the antlers mounted today. Bought one of those "Iron Buck" mounts.

I kinda like it! :mrgreen:

They sell them here in one of the archery shops, only in 'stainless' finish. I like the looks.

Thx Modoc, AJMD49 and Game Keeper I used to do my other mounts of other game with the whole boiled and bleached skull... I would then Poly-urethan them for longer lasting. I have done deer for my in-laws like that too (european) but I have gotten tired of boiling and diggigng for brains! :mrgreen:
With this I just had to boil the skull cap that I cut out...dry it... then mount it!

El Chivo...he was working on being big.... but I fixed that! :o

If yo don't like boiling find a pond with crawdads... jut tie a rope to the head, throw it in and a few days later it is clean as a whistle and ready to dry and coat. If you like boil with bleach for a whiter mount. We do all the buff heads for the ranch like this.

That is one darn nice mount though.
