Neat pictures. I find it interesting how back in the time when those pictures were taken that guys were able to get wherever they needed in what was basically the family sedan. Now-a-days, it seems as if we can't go hunting unless we're in a 4x4 or on horseback.

I'm ashamed to say I'm a Christmas/Easter/Wedding kind of church goer. I like to listen to the Opera and Symphony, and about any kind of jazz or big band. The Pacific NorthWet has a very relaxed dress code.

I enjoyed those photos. The two rifles in the first photo look like Savages.
Kirk: An old geezer who loves the smell of freshly turned earth, old cedar rail fences, wood smoke, a crackling fireplace on a snowy evening, pristine wilderness lakes, the scent of
cedars and a magnificent Whitetail buck framed in the semi-buckhorn sights of a 120-year old Winchester.

It does look like both are holding Savage rifles. That is really a big buck. Do ya'll know that hunters really did kill deer and bear and did not have to wear $1000.00 worth of camo clothes and boots?
Thanks for the great pictures.

I would venture to say those rifles may very well have been the only ones
They ever owned. Today most of use have Fort Knox like safes full of
Rifles and shotguns for every possible hunting scenario we could possibly
get into. :)

My wife and I refer to our Honda Odyssey as our "all-terrain minivan". We do indeed take it where some folks wouldn't take their shiny trucks. Hasn't failed us yet. The 4X4s that are bought seem to be often more "want" than "need".
