OT - Who remembers Fuzzy Farant?

Post by bsaride »

I do cuz I had a pair on my Lew Horton 3 inch 624.
Made right after he had eye surgery (checkering had some shorts and overruns)
Fit my hand like a glove!
Swore I buy more if'n I got the chance.
Should have a pair of RB S&W K-frames here soon.
Just put a bid on a gun they will fit.
Should have pics in about 3 weeks.

IIRC he was a California cop turned grip maker. His work was well regarded during his day.

IIRC, Both characters Reed and Malloy in "ADAM-12" had his grips on their Model 15 S&W's in the clamshell swivel holsters. I think LAPD had just standardized the 4" version over the old 6" M14 Smith....
