Hornady 45 cal 255 gr lead drylube bullets
Anyone use/used them they are 20-1 mix, how fast can they be pushed before they start causing a leading problem in a pistol. danny

As-is, the dry-lubed bullets do fine at Cowboy-level velocities, 750-850 fps. I have found that they will also do well at velocities up to about 1200 fps if I add a thin coat of liquid Alox to them.

I loaded a bunch of them up early this year. Coated some of them with LLA.
Have no idea how they'll work as I haven't shot a one of them. Actually, um .... I don't even know where they are

From what I've tried don't push them over 600fps without adding extra lube. I'm pretty dissapointed with them.
