OT- Organicly fueled robot
Looks like something out of a sci-fi novel. Could be very useful.

Hmm. I don't think there is anything in the various "Conventions" that specifically says you can't eat the enemies dead. But they were written is a more "civilized" time. Would those agreements apply to machines, anyway?

I believe it was spelled with a "y" as in soylent green. Now, what do you think the health care changes are going to lead to? A "Logan's Run" or "Soylent Green" scenario as those deemed too old or not worthy of health care are converted to feed those that would otherwise go hungry as corn is converted to ethanol rather than meal and beef/cows are outlawed?Tycer wrote:SOILENT GREEN...IS PEOPLE!!!!!

Re: OT- Organicly fueled robot
Watched a show last night, while moderating here, that talked about just that. Several different scientists have put together parts of such a creation. Voice recognition, movement, strength, etc. All are in the actual working model stage. Just haven't put them together.Ysabel Kid wrote:Instead of "I'll be back"...
It's now, "Are you going to eat that?"

A half-baked posit, at best, but I'll chew on it for awhile.Old Ironsights wrote:I'm steamed by all of this pot-stirring.
