Update on my Mom

Post by JReed »

A short while back I posted that my Mom had lost her job. Many of you offered up your prayers and kind thoughts that she would be able to find a new job. Well I am happy to say that they worked and she is now back to work this is a big load off of her as she is quite the worrier. Thanks. :D

The couple of times I found myself without a job... it turned out to be the beginning of better opportunities... I haven't worried about losin' one in a long time! Yeah, right! Still doesn't remove the validity of the 1st statement!!

It was about 2 months ago. You blink on this forum and you miss a weeks worth of stuff.

Jeremy,

Glad to hear it. You know though, whether we're up to date on you or your family all are in our prayers.

I'd like to hear how the recruiting gig is going for you. Having had a small bit of experience in recruiting I'm interested. However, I'm betting that when you get home you don't want to think about it. I understand completely, believe me!
Sincerely,

Hobie

Going insanely well thanks to the economy. It is nuts when you can't send a high school grad to boot camp until next March!

That is good news Jeremy. Hope it all works out for your Mom and that she likes her new job. I know that the marines are still looking for a few good men, and I hope you find them and send them to Parris Island. Just teasing, but after all these years you'd think they would have found them. Seriously, may all of your recruits turn out to be excellent Marines.

Mr. Reed, I didn't see the post about your mom, and while I'm glad to know your mom won't have to worry so much now with her new job, I am equally impressed to see her son caring so much for his mom. I would move mountains for my mom, and I can see that in you as well, thanks for sharing this info
