I'll take the Texas Paterson w/ the extra cylinder please.

I believe Dr. Murphy was showing off some of his collection one week when I dropped into Collector's Firearms in Houston back in the early 90's. He had a Walker that looked to be 80% on display along with various Paterson's and SAA's. He apparently had that rare combination of both "taste" in firearms and the "money" to back it up.

I have never heard of the "famous" Sears SAA though. I'm guessing it was listed in one of the old 19th century Sears catalogs as something people of the era could lust after. I'd love to know what it was listed at if it was indeed in the catalog.

Where would I start. Where would I end. I think I'd start with Grant's 1860 Army. And, then....

Seriously, I couldn't even pay the tip.

That's truly amazing, and wonderful! It's really nice that one man could assemble such a great collection of such fine guns! Love them all!
