For those who didn't know it, now you do.
I just had an interesting conversation with Lisa at VTI gun parts. We were discussing my old Uberti made Iver Johnson's imported Cattleman and when I told her about the gunsmith who rebuilt IJ telling me it needed an over sized base pin she knew all about it. Told me some of the earliest models of Ubertis did need a .255" base pin.
She went on to tell me that she had been the manager of Uberti USA until Beretta bought them out, and that VTI was an offshoot of Uberti USA. She said they decided to just do parts. And boy do they have parts.
In addition to the parts listed on their web site, they also have after market sources for some of the no longer available Uberti parts. Such as the over sized base pins for the older ones.
So, for those here that have Uberti made rifles and hand guns and:
IAB (Pedretti ) Sharps
Armi San Marco
Beretta
Pedersoli
Pietta
Armi Sport (Chiappa)
here is a good source of parts for your guns.

If you do call them, I'd suggest asking for Lisa. She's more up on the parts than some of the guys I've talked to.
Note: I am not connected to this company in any way shape nor form. I just spend money there.
