Over the years there has been SO many great recipes posted here, how many of you would purchase a Leverguns Cookbook a compilation of recipes posted by forumites to help fund this great website? I know I would. How about it Jim T, Paco, Paul, anyone willing to do the work? Have all the posts from the old forum been lost forever?

It seems to me that Doc Hudson was trying to put together a cook book before Katrina smashed N.O. all to heck and gone. I could be wrong though.

I'd be up for one if somebody did put one together.

Just about every church in WV has produced at least one cookbook some of them do it every other year or so. My wife has a collection of church cookbooks. After you have five or six of them there are always certain recipes that keep popping up over and over.

Maybe Papa Bear cold post ordering information on his cookbook. I'm in the Christmas shopping mood right now.

My cookbook would be short:

1. Open can of beans
2. Eat beans out of can

(heating beans optional)

1. Open Vienna Sausages can
2. Eat Vienna Sausages out of can.

1. Open Spam can
2. Either eat Spam cold (sliced) on bread or without or
3. Fry Spam and eat either on bread or without

season to taste with mustard or whatever that stuff is in the jar .. scrape off the green on top first.

Yep, that's my hunting, hiking, traveling recipe routine too. Only I add a can or two of corn beaf hash. ( I call it dog food.)

Apple stuffed Roast Pheasant with a brandy/sage marmalade glaze...
Baked Yams with a carmelized butter/sherry sauce
Corn Casserole
Wild Rice Pilaf
Pecan Pie

That's what I made for Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I'm a Zen chef. I just make stuff.

I don't have any recepies for any of it but the corn casserole & pecan pie - and that's because those recepies are printed on the ingredient packaging (which I don't really follow either.)
