50th Aniversery BlackHawk (The .357)
I'm just not seeing aftermarket grips for this. The thin, checkered stock grips are just plain uncomfortable with heavy loads. Any ideas? This ones an absolute keeper, so I'd consider some upscale grips, too, but would be perfectly happy with ones like came on my SingleSix, nice, smooth wood.

Any aftermarket grips for a Ruger New Vaquero will fit the 50th anniversary models.

As good as Esmeralda is Cary Chapman is better. Here is his link:
http://www.clccustomgrips.com/ .
I have two sets of his grips and they are excellent. He makes a style for the New Vaqueros and the 50th Anniversarys that is slightly wider to make the grip the same size as the original XR3. The current one is narrower.
Just to torment you the yellowed grips on my OM BH pictured in the Classifieds with the cylinder bags for sale are made by Cary Chapman.
They are two years old this Christmas and I love 'em.
If you want more pics of his grips PM or email me your email addy and I'll send them to you. Its a pain to download everything to photobucket.
