Mozambican Devil

Post by JimT »

This sixgun was built by Gary Reeder (www.reedercustomguns.com) and donated to raise money for our Mission to Mozambique that we just completed.

The gun was auctioned on GunBroker. The winner then took it to a meet and put it in a raffle to raise money for that group.

The winner of the raffle then decided that the then unfired sixgun should come back to me.

I was overwhelmed to say to least.

Today I finally had the chance to get out and run some ammo through it. I used Black Hills Cowboy loads, Black Hills Thunder Ranch loads and some personal handloads. It seems to do better with the hotter loads.

My next try will be Buffalo Bore Heavy .44 Special loads.

It is a good-shooting little sixgun.

Wow! That's some trip that pistol's been on. Looks like it finally found a home too.

Nice looking revolver, and a 44 special to boot. Funny how things work out sometimes.

Well, HOT DOG, Jim! At least it came right back to you, instead of taking 40-odd years of time. :D Good on whoever did what they did for you, too. :!:
