S&W Old Army No. 2

I try not to buy any guns I can't shoot, but this old S&W Army Model 2 came into the show today and the owner asked if I was interested in buying it. I looked it over closely as being a tip up model they often are loose at the pivot screw, but this one was nice and tight. It also has a great bore, and overall pretty nice shape for a gun made 160 years ago! I made the seller an offer and we seemed at an impasse. He walked away maybe 30 ft., and then came back to accept my offer. All matching numbers and serial number makes it 1866 I think. All 5's, except the last digit! 5555x.

Thanks Bill! Can't shoot it much being .32RF Long, but I do have some later Cannuck ammo I'll shoot it a little with. AA good companion gun to my #3 S&W in .44 Russian.
