Raiding a church service goes too far

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

I would have thought that trying to burn the church in Washington DC would do it. But it didn’t.

This time, I’m having a hard time finding words to describe my anger. It was intended to be provocative. And it was.

It was illegal. The FACE act mentions places of worship.

I go to a Cowboy Church. It would end with the protestors hoping the police arrive soon.

.
Those of us in rural areas, who are 'conservative', tend to forget one thing:

Laws (both moral and legal) are ONLY for Republicans

Democrats and their minions don't have to obey laws, because they have self-anointed themselves as morally superior, and above the law.

But yes, I agree, that many rural churches would be the LAST place such 'progressive' types would want to mess with.

So ironic that the Democrats claim to be 'tolerant' and 'inclusive' and 'peaceful', when THEY are the ones who start punching, looting, setting things on fire, and shooting people when they dare to disagree with the Democrat talking-points.

+1

I think our security team would end up having to protect the idiot protesters from the parishioners. We don't put up with stuff like that...

I live in an urban area. But it's a port town. I go to a Catholic church. The parishioners are a mix of liberal, conservative, unionists, business owners and so on. In other words just about anyone in a small town whose Catholic (actually, we have three Catholic churches in town). But we have longshoremen. oil workers, shipyard workers and folks that work in just about any heavy industry. And a lot of them are vets. Yea, a fair number of WWII vets, but also Korea, Viet Nam, Afghanistan and Iraq.

These aren't folks known for sitting in their pew while a bunch of lunatics interrupt their listening to the word of God. And if you try an armed assault, not even God could save you (blasphemous I know but sometimes one needs emphasis).
