I have one in 32-20. Not as fancy though, but my great grandfather used it in the 1890's on our place to hunt deer.

That's a stunning Model 1889 Marlin!
When the Model 1894 was first introduced and people wanted one in deluxe trim Marlin actually didn't have any pistol grip lower tangs, so everyone who ordered a deluxe 1894 got a Model 1889 for the first six months! I've often wondered if customers back then knew what they got and complained, or just accepted their new 1894 was really an 1889?
