Finally snagged a pre war model 61 in decent shape 1937.
Shot this .500" offhand group at 20 yards 10 shots , its a keeper.

Very nice! What great guns....I have a model 61 made in 1948 and a model 62A made in 1953 and really enjoy them both.

Yeah the 61 is the Cadillac of slide action rifles

That's a beauty, and great shooting besides!
Those 61's are sweet little rifles. I gave mine to my daughter, who was excited to have it. I'll keep my 1935 Model 62 until I can't shoot anymore.

What a lovely little pump -- absolutely made for the .22 LR.
