While digging around looking for something, this surfaced. I received it as a gift back in the 20th Century down in the Amazon Basin. I got to thinkin' that perhaps it might be of interest to some of y'all. Particularly, that second notch from the hilt. The one near the hilt is of course a bottle cap opener. What about the next one? Does it perhaps ring a bell with any of y'all?

Could it be to use as a draw knife? I'm thinking to make uniform staves for fish traps or similar, just a guess.
