My Virginia peanuts ordered from Whitley's came in yesterday and friend Butch and I consumed a number of these fine goobers along with a few beers. Aaah -- a diet to heal broken wings!
$37 for 5# delivered here in lakapeanutland. Grateful to have them. Thanks for initiating the thread that located these critters Bill-in-Oregon.
Also paid over $1200 for a case of black powder that is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Seems spendy but grateful to find it!
The old dollar is not much value anymore. As long as I keep in mind the new dollar is really just a dime the prices don't seem so bad.

Holy cow, it that Swiss that costs that much or did you order 20#'s of the stuff? How long will that last?

Earl, I can't stop eating the peanuts I got from Whitley's Peanut Factory. With all the garbage-grade peanuts on the market such as Hampton Farms, I had forgotten what a pleasure it was to sit down with a bowl and make a mess!

With me, 2 grandboys most of the time and a third occasionally we'll shoot up most of this case just in the matches this coming year. Another couple pounds testing loads and she'll all be gone come next year this time. Buffalo Arms had only the Swiss on hand; said they'd not get more stock until next March and weren't sure what they'd get then... Just a scosh over $48/lb with shipping and hazmat.

Peanuts sound good. Academy had IMR4350 today for $57 per pound. I am not sure which deal sounds better.
