I'm curious if anyone here has experience with Spanish-made side-by-side doubles...
I looked at a few nice ones by Aya, Sarasqueta, and Uggy (Ugartechea) earlier today, but they were all out of my budget range as I'd also picked up a new Browning O/U (Cynergy CX, 20 gauge). So I picked up this Kassnar "Churchill Regent VI" made by Zabala, in 12 gauge. It has 25" barrels, choked IC & M, which will work well in the Maine woods and with the nice stock and engraving, it's a pretty gun overall. It functions well with snap caps and looks to be well made. It also came with a canvas & leather hard case made by Emmebi in Italy, which would easily cost over 400 Euro if bought new. If I value that case at $200 USD, then I did pretty well on the SxS I think. But due to my shoulder recovery (only 9 weeks post surgery for 2 large tendon tears), it will probably be after the New Year when I can shoot it for the first time. Dang......

Darryl over the years I've had several Spanish sxs from cheap to not so cheap, never had a problem with any of them but I have seen some I wouldn't touch.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.
