i remembered this model and a year or so ago, i found one in an auction:
the barrels are about 8". it shoots pretty good patterns, probably good for ptarmigan out to 10 yards or so....BUT.....my the combination of my hands being so arthritic [ polyarticular pseudo-rheumatoid pseudogout] and my anticoagulants.... make it a no go even with gloves....my entire palm was deeply bruised. if i had some pachmayr type grips i would give it another try
