and put it in. I have used Heinie springs for close to 30 years in my Colts and Colt copies.
The Pietta-made Cimarron is finished nicely inside. No rough casting marks or boogers that I can find.

The spring for the cylinder hand is a coil spring with a plunger a la Ruger. It goes in the top hole. Yes. I have put it in the screw hole. You don't do that often without learning to look.

Yes .. they can be to narrow but they are easily worked with and it usually does not take much of anything.
I installed one of those wire springs in my Uberti Flat Top Target years ago when the original flat spring broke. It's been quite satisfactory through a wheelbarrow-load of ammo.
