No Deer Hunting Here this Week.

Last Friday the west wind aligned on Lake Erie and the snow began. snowed All day and night. went out 2:00 am Saturday morning and snow was knee deep, haven't hardly used the snow blower in seven years. used it all weekend and will again today as more is coming. took Me two hours to get one lane down the driveway. Snow continued all weekend. even with it settling We have more than 36" on level ground . It's a good thing I still have a roof rake with a 20' handle . It's less fun at 70 years old . Not complaining, it's a lot worse up in Erie Pa and parts of New York. Stay Warm Guys. .

As pretty as the Great Lakes region is i wouldn't voluntarily move up there and I LOVE snow!
Happy your blower worked, nothing worse than getting stuck with no way to get parts,gas once the storm has hit!

Gunny, I try to run all my outdoor motors several times a year weather they need it or not. as I said We have not had much snow for years . most of Ohio has been in a sever drought all year. We had 11" of rain here along the Lake in June, July, and Early August and after that hardly any . Glad this snow blower is working.!

Love the snow, but not enough to live on the East Side.

While it's snowing and blowing on your end, 80 miles or so WSW of you, the sun is out, but it's been stupid cold for this time of year. I was out on a fire loss yesterday and told the contractor that I wanted the place winterized. The looked at me like I'd lost my mind. When I asked if they were going to take responsibility for any damage done when the water gets turned back on. They quickly changed their mind. It's not like they weren't going to get paid for it.

Gobblerforge , We are near the Lake in Geneva Township. Jason, I don't mind the cold as long as it stays cold. tomorrow another artic front will bring more snow and then by early next week we are looking at 40's & 50's . probably be some flooding. And then Mud everywhere. .

I'll get the winds out here on the Great Plains of western OH, but I'll be surprised if I get any snow. Every year I start sounding more and more like my dad, complaining about being cold. After working outside for a couple of decades and not minding it, I'm just too beat up for it anymore.
