The old Lyman #454190 is a great bullet! I have an old Lyman mold that my Dad rescued and rehabilitated that I have used for years.

I had a big red Hereford cow that hadn't given me a calf in 3 years and decided to eat her. I put her down with this bullet backed by 35 gr. FFFg black powder in my 1887 Colt SAA. I put some range cubes on the ground and when she put her head down to get a bite I shot her right in the sweet spot. She did not know what hit her. Bullet went clean through and into the dirt.

That’s a really great and useful bullet. I should find a mold for it.
