Another replacement from the Great Purge and the months spent in the hospital.
This one took a while. A 44 magnum Bisley with the short 4.6" barrel. It's an uncommon combination and the one I had I'd special ordered from a dealer that had told me at the time that it was an 'uncatalogued version". This was mid '90s if I remember correctly and it didn't get much use after the Bowen was done, but it was a good shooter and I've been looking for quite some time.
Picked it up at a show this morning, that I wasn't feeling up to going but decided to last minute. Needed a break from work and moving.
Came with the box and papers. If it's been fired, it wasn't more than a few times.
Down to three 1911s still to find.

Mighty handsome sixgun, Jason. Hope your can conclude your quest soon.
Thanks Guys!
Bill,
The Combat Elite shouldn't be that hard, but finding an '80s vintage that hasn't been molested or abused has made it more
elusive than I though it would.
The 1911A1 and the history mine had and the System 27 with the property marks of Juan Peron's personal
police force are irreplaceable. I can get close with the A1 and may someday find another CFS marked Argentine pistol, but unlikely.
At least I can say that recovering the Bowen .44 has been the best part of that story.
